Dhanin Chearavanont was born on 19th April 1939 in Bangkok, Thailand. He got his early education from the Chinese school in Bangkok before getting admission to Sarasit Wittaya school in the district of Banpong, Ratchaburi Province. He completed his education of College from Hong Kong and returned to Thailand in 1958 for helping the family business. He started his career from the age of about 25 years old, became president in 1970, and later Chairman after 19 years. He is now becoming the billionaire businessman in Bangkok, senior Chairman of CP Group. His company is the largest private company in the country. Dhanin is the head of the Chearavanont family[1]. He is a philanthropist and kind person, donated about $21.8 million to fight against the spread of Coronavirus in Thailand in 2020. He got awards from Tongji University, China Agricultural University, Fudan University, and China Agricultural Academy[1].
Chalerm Yoovidhya:
Chalerm Yoovidhya was born in September 1950 in Bangkok, Thailand. He was the eldest son of Chleo Yoovidhya, who was the Krating Daeng and Co-creator of the Red Bull Brands of Energy Drinks. He started his career in the Red Bull Company Limited and Siam Winery Limited. He married Daranee Yoovidhya and has three children and lives in Bangkok, Thailand. Their children are Varangkana Kritakara, Varit, and Vorayuth Yoovidhya. His Brother Saravoot Yoovidhya runs the company of Red Bull in Thailand and is the main Board Director of Kasikorn Bank[2]. Charoen Sirivadhanabhakdi:
Charoen Siriwatthanaphakdi was born on 2nd May 1944 in Bangkok, Thailand. He is a businessman and the Chairman of Conglomerate of TCC Group and Fraser and Neave, Ltd (F&N). The Sirivadhanabhakdi family has now been the largest property developer in Thailand and landlord of 630,000 rai (100,800 hectares), commercial and retail buildings in Singapore. He also owns 50 hotels in Asia, the US, UK, and Australia, includes Plaza Athenee in Manhattan and The Okura Prestige Bangkok. In 1988, Ruler Bhumibol of Thailand decided the private the name “Sirivadhanabhakdi”. He went to school for education but left the education and started the career by supplying Thai Whisky, at that time it was the state-run monopoly. He started making his beer by making relations with people and acquired the license. At that time, the liquor was produced in the state and there was about 15% share in the market. In 1985, the remaining 85% of state licenses were opened bids[4].
Charoen was able to produce Beer in 1991 with the partner Danish Brewer Carlsberg and get into the market which was growing rapidly at that time. The market was in hands of 60 years of old Boon Rawd Brewery who made Singha Beer. After that in the 2000s, Charoen has successfully able to open the Branch of TCC Land Co. Ltd. Now, it is the company that is leading in the country and engaging the property funds in Thailand and Singapore. In 2015, Charoen was so close to the completing takeover of English Premier League Side Everton, a club that Beer has Sponsored since 2004[4].
Tos Chirathivat:
Tos Chirahivat was born in 1965 in Thailand. He is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Central Group and head of one of Thailand’s leading family business groups. He completed school in one year and got a degree in economics from the Wesleyan University in Connecticut in 1985 and acknowledged his MBA from Columbia University in New York in 1987. The central groups have been purchased about more than 60 department stores and shopping malls. This group also operates a hotel and restaurant with a total of about 5,000 outlets. He and his family are the richest in Thailand. He started his career by becoming the CEO of the group of Central Group on 29th November 2013[5].
Tos was CEO Central Retailing the retails development arm. In this role, Tos focused on international expansion. The company opened three department stores in China in 2010 and 2011. The group also made several key roles in Europe, purchase the Italian retailer La Rinascente in 2011[5].
