World Forecast:
Unprecedented chaos, unparalleled uncertainty, and unprecedented turmoil have characterized the year 2020. The global epidemic put pressure on all continents – a concept we had never expected. The world was shocked when people began to get sick with the virus and lost in the fight for health from Europe to Asia; from North America to Australia. Strong SOPs incorporated steps of social isolation, hand sanitizers were used, and wearing a mask became part of our lifestyle. However, this lifestyle lacked the ability to enjoy socializing and having fun with friends and work colleagues in restaurants or family gatherings. The new norm, as it is called by the world soon overshadowed us. As remote video calls altered board room meetings, the practice of operating from home became a modus operandi and the same thing happened about how intelligent participants interact with their students; classes are set up from the comfort of their home as a body.
2021 prediction:
We need to look to the future now that we are in the final month of 2020 – the year we wish you could never come. What will happen in 2021 is hard to guess, but it is possible to share some research. As we reach 2021, the new norm will continue to be our slogan and standard. With online call requests, workshops, interviews, discussions, and debates will be held. Digital webinars, seminars, lectures, and conferences will take place. Although our contact with our partners has been reduced by this, it has also reduced operational costs. In addition, a global audience will experience such multimedia events and are gaining popularity in digital and social media. As the second wave of COVID-19 gathers influence worldwide, such concrete activities will continue to be held. We should be paying attention to the ‘Great Reset’ when we speak of the new norm. It is a plan introduced by the World Economic Forum to restructure the global economy (WEF). Interestingly, in May 2020, around two or three months after the countries started struggling, it was adopted. Nominated by Prince Charles and the WEF Owner, Klaus Schwab.
Politics in 2021
According to the Great Reset, certain policies that will foster capitalism through investment in environmental projects will be introduced. The initiative earned a boost when almost 80,000 individuals signed a petition opposing the adoption of this policy in less than 72 hours. It still remains to be seen where the Great Reset will take over the world in terms of economic, environmental, and political change. What is crucial is that this outbreak is not used to its benefit by the existing powers. The year 2021 may see the creation of new relationships and the restoration of old relationships in the face of politics and politics. A Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) was recently signed by China and South Korea, which could strengthen their relationships. However, if US President-elect Joe Biden’s policies put South Korea closer to Washington and drive it further away from China, this figure might change. When under the Donald Trump age, China and the US had a strained relationship, they would definitely try to build new excuses for being in a changing world. Bhutan and Germany are the two countries that have not had any contact so far. As Bhutanese Ambassador Maj. General Vestop and German Ambassador Walter Lindner met at the Royal Bhutan Embassy in New Delhi, the two countries, with a different social and political system, aim to improve their newly established relations. Time will teach us about the exchange of capital and ideas these nations will face. Similarly, Saudi Arabia is establishing a formal collaboration to grow a public enterprise with Zimbabwe. One must wonder if Germany and Saudi Arabia, respectively, will have any interest in Bhutan and Zimbabwe. They would either penetrate natural resources or use them as a shield for their regional adversaries. Therefore the year 2021 will be a year in which citizens, cultures, societies, and nations will struggle to adapt to new expectations and circumstances that have never existed before. Social, economic, and political shifts will begin to occur in 2021, from the transition from the US Administration to the launch of the COVID-19 vaccine.
